Reminders

* The departments of biological sciences and chemistry will present a lecture in their Molecular Biosciences Series at 4 p.m. today (Monday, Jan. 30), in 218 Hubbard Hall. Dr. Steven Kernie, associate professor of pediatrics, pathology and cell biology and director of Pediatric Critical Care medicine at Columbia University, will present "The relevance of hippocampal neurogenesis to human brain injury." The series is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the biological sciences and chemistry departments, the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Office of Research Administration.

* A training session on Microsoft Beginning Outlook 2010 will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon Friday, Feb. 3, in 119 Jabara Hall. * The Regional Institute on Aging is announcing three graduate student research awards to be funded at $3,000 each for a one-year period for direct research costs, assuming receipt of an adequate number of high quality applications. * The 2012 Summer WSU/France Entrepreneurship and Franchise Exchange program (EFE) is a unique student exchange and learning experience open to all undergraduate students with an interest in learning about the international nature of business, entrepreneurship and/or franchising.
