Reminders

* There will be a news conference to announce this year's two winners of the Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 1) in the Devlin Hall Conference Room. The scholarship, one of the most prestigious at WSU, awards each recipient $20,000 over four years.

* The first spring 2012 meeting of the Pre-Tenure Club will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 1) in 115B Neff Hall. All probationary faculty are welcome to attend. RSVP to ofdss@wichita.edu or 978-3209. Feel free to bring your lunch.

* A Brown Bag Diversity Discussion, "Black Pride: Is it Hindering the Progress of African American People?," will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 1) in the RSC Fireplace Lounge.
