* The Department of Biological Sciences spring seminar series continues with Brad Oberle of the University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Missouri Botanical Garden presenting "Mission: Impossible. * The spring 2012 GradesFirst campaign for academic early alerts will be launched Monday, Feb. 13, with instructor feedback to be submitted by Friday, Feb. 17. A series of informational sessions for instructors will take place from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in 115B Neff Hall, and noon-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in 106 McKinley Hall. * Shockers will celebrate Homecoming 2012 the week of Feb. 20-25. The deadline for royalty nominations is 8 a.m. today (Monday, Feb. 6) and the deadline for the university-wide decorating contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
