Reminders

* Relationships can sometimes be a great source of stress, but they can also be revitalizing in times of high stress. This Words for Wellness workshop from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 6) in 007 RSC, will examine components of healthy relationships and address strategies to improve your relationship with your spouse or partner. Come receive some great tips, while enjoying some light refreshments.

* The Department of Biological Sciences spring seminar series continues with Brad Oberle of the University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Missouri Botanical Garden presenting "Mission: Impossible. Conserving biodiversity in a warming world," at 4 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 6) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Learn more about Oberle and his research at http://dodecatheon.net/.

* Health Shocks is being held at WSU West Campus from 5:30-7 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 6). Representatives from Student Health, Disability Services, Heskett Center and several others will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Door prizes and giveaways will be offered. * The spring 2012 GradesFirst campaign for academic early alerts will be launched Monday, Feb. 13, with instructor feedback to be submitted by Friday, Feb. 17. A series of informational sessions for instructors will take place from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in 115B Neff Hall, and noon-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in 106 McKinley Hall. * Shockers will celebrate Homecoming 2012 the week of Feb. 20-25. The deadline for royalty nominations is 8 a.m. today (Monday, Feb. 6) and the deadline for the university-wide decorating contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. * WSU Volleyball is offering Tuesday Night Fast Fours for girls and boys in fourth through 12th grade in the multipurpose facility by Charles Koch Arena.
