* The WSU Foundation will host a session, "Finance and Accounting," from 9:30-10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 7) in 223 RSC. There also will be time for some Q&A about other areas of interest.

* Steven R. Yussen, professor and director of undergraduate studies and honors program at the Institute of Child Development, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, will present "Discussing contemporary fiction: Lessons from adult book group discussions" at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 7) in 155 Corbin Education Center. * The spring 2012 GradesFirst campaign for academic early alerts will be launched Monday, Feb. 13, with instructor feedback to be submitted by Friday, Feb. 17. A series of informational sessions for instructors will take place from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in 115B Neff Hall, and noon-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in 106 McKinley Hall.
