Connie Landreth, assistant director of Human Resources from August 1999, died on Nov. 17, 2011, after a yearlong struggle with cancer. Connie was well known and respected on the WSU campus for her ready smile, her optimistic outlook and her tireless efforts to assist current staff and retirees with their insurance and investment questions and concerns. As a memorial to Connie and to convey our gratitude for her friendship, work and commitment to WSU, donations are being accepted for a paving stone in her name at the WSU Plaza of Heroines.
