Feb. 21 was proclaimed to be "International Mother Language Day" by UNESCO in 1999. Since then, this day has been observed every year worldwide to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity. The Bangladesh Student Association and International Student Union are collaborating for the second year to observe the "International Mother Language Day" on the WSU campus with an event from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the RSC first floor hallway.
