WSU Foundation sponsors College of Fine Arts Scholarship Luncheon WSU Foundation sponsors College of Fine Arts Scholarship Luncheon

More than 125 people were welcomed by Rodney Miller, dean of the College of Fine Arts, to the College of Fine Arts Scholarship Luncheon Feb. 9 at the Marcus Welcome Center. The event, sponsored by the WSU Foundation, gave donors and recipients of their scholarships an opportunity to get to know one another or catch up on the year's activities.

Pat Coyer shared her experiences as trustee of the William L. Graham Charitable Trust. A gift from the trust created the Marjorie L. Graham scholarship, which supports about 40 fine arts students a year.

Attendees enjoyed entertainment provided by Jennifer Weiman, second year graduate student in the WSU opera department, and Emily Pirtle, WSU senior double majoring in music theater and piano accompanying. The student speaker was Jacob January, WSU senior, double majoring in musical theatre and vocal performance. Completing the program were comments from WSU President Don Beggs and WSU Foundation President and CEO Elizabeth King.
