* At the Pre-Tenure Club meeting from 12:30-1:30 p.m. (today) Wednesday, Feb. 22, in 117 Neff Hall, a member of the University Tenure and Promotion Committee will talk about the "Do's and Don'ts" of putting together your tenure application. * The Spring 2012 Physics Seminar Series will feature professor Alexei Grigoriev of the University of Tulsa presenting "Electrically driven phenomena in ferroelectric materials" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 22) in 128 Jabara Hall.
* The Chemistry Department will host professor Paul Rubenstein of the University of Iowa as a Molecular Biosciences Series lecturer at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 22) in 224 McKinley Hall. Rubenstein will speak on "The role of profiling in the regulation of actin polymerization."
* Free tax preparation is available on campus for faculty, staff and students through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. * Career Services is providing WSU faculty, staff and students the opportunity to donate to Dress for Success Wichita. The organization promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
