* Parking lot closures on Friday, Feb. 24: The Office of Admissions has reserved the RSC parking lot. Only guests attending that function will be allowed to park in the RSC parking lot. In addition, the WSU Alumni Association has reserved the parking lot east of the Coleman Tennis complex and south of Elliott Hall for a homecoming event.

* Faculty and staff are invited to the presentation "Twelve Reasons Students Drop Out -- and How Instructors Can Help" from 12:30-1:20 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 23) in 107 McKinley Hall. Feel free to bring your lunch. RSVP to ofdss@wichita.edu or 978-3209.

* Come see how you can help make your classroom a more interactive environment with clickers in the classroom. The Media Resources Center is hosting a representative from Turning Technologies for a demonstration and to answer your questions in the FLS 35 room at the MRC from 2-3:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 23).

* The Office of Multicultural Affairs presents the Black History Month lecture "African American Business History: Lost, Stolen or Strayed?" by Robert Weems, the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at WSU, at 6 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 23) in 203 RSC.

* Come to a SMART technologies demonstration of the SMART Board 600 and SMART Podium interactive pen display as well as an ultra-short throw projector, which can be very close to the wall or screen it's projecting on.
