After being a member of the Wichita State University Police Department for 39 years, Detective Lloyd Harp is retiring. Join us as we celebrate his past and wish him well in future plans from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, in the King Room, Marcus Welcome Center. While he was an undergraduate student at WSU, Harp became a student dispatcher at the WSU Security Department. Two years later, in 1974, he was hired as a university police officer. Since then, he has continued to serve the university community as a member of the university police department.
