* Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Darron Smith, assistant professor of the physician assistant department, and co-author of "White Parents, Black Children," as he explores transracial adoption at 2 p.m. today (Monday, March 12) in 223 RSC.
* The Department of Biological Sciences spring seminar series continues today (Monday, March 12). Mark Fishbein of Oklahoma State University will present "Phylogenetics of milkweeds (Asclepias, Apocynaceae), a framework studying the evolution of plant defenses" at 4 p.m. in 218 Hubbard Hall. * Join fellow Kansas scientists on March 30-31 at WSU for the Kansas Academy of Science annual meeting. Registration and abstracts are due today (Monday, March 12). * WSU will actively participate in the statewide tornado safety drill at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13. In the event of inclement weather, the drill will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15. All faculty, staff, students and guests are expected to go to a designated shelter until the all clear.
