* WSU will participate in the statewide tornado safety drill at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 13). All faculty, staff, students and guests are expected to go to a designated shelter until the all clear. Miller is a veteran of the operatic stage, and his repertoire of nearly 50 roles includes Mephistopheles, Figaro and Emil deBeque. * Stop by and get pumped up before the WSU Shockers take on the Purdue Boilermakers in baseball Thursday, March 15. Free food, games and music will be provided before the 6:30 p.m. game. The event starts at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Heskett Center Playfield and is cosponsored by the Student Activities Council and Fairmount Towers Activity Council.

* The Spring 2012 Physics Seminar Series will feature professor Gennady Shvets of the University of Texas presenting "Metamaterials" at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, in 128 Jabara Hall.
