* High school sophomore and junior dependents of WSU faculty and staff are invited to take a guest course in summer 2012. The Office of Admissions will provide summer guest scholarships to students who have a 3.0 high school GPA or higher. Parents who believe their children are ready for a college course should email debbie.neill@wichita.edu to seek instructions and deadlines. * Student Health Services is looking for an associate director/registered nurse. Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. today (Monday, March 19). * WSU has many academic and athletic summer camp opportunities in 2012. * Employees who are enrolled in the State Group Health Plan are required to obtain a Health Screening prior to July 31, in order to secure the discount on health insurance premiums. Health screenings will be offered on campus Friday, March 23, and Wednesday, May 2, in the Heskett Center lobby. Your health insurance ID card will allow you to obtain this health screening (through HealthQuest) at no cost. To schedule an appointment, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1494.

* The Heskett Center has announced the following hours during spring break:
Monday, March 19, through Friday, March 23 -- 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25 -- 1-6 p.m.

* Do you have questions after attending a Microsoft Office Training session? Need some help working in a document, spreadsheet or with Outlook? A drop-in open lab session where you can be helped by members of the applications training department is offered from 1-3 p.m. every Wednesday in 119 Jabara Hall. To view lab dates and register, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for a lab.
