The nonprofit organization Zach's Wishes for Miracles honors the memory of Zach Mesch -- a Wichita State student who passed away from leukemia in July 2010. The organization will award a one-time, $500 scholarship to one outstanding student based on the criteria outlined in the application, with the most emphasis being placed on the scholarship statement and community service responses.
