* The Department of Biological Sciences spring seminar series continues with Mostafa Elshahed of Oklahoma State University presenting "Exploring the utility of the anaerobic gut fungi (Phylum Neocallimastigomycota) in biofuel research" at 4 p.m. today (Monday, March 26) in 218 Hubbard Hall. * Faculty and staff are encouraged to remind students of the Academic Cross-Training Study Skills workshops that help students achieve academic fitness. The next workshop will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in 305 RSC. Students will master the secrets to textbook reading that will improve their understanding of course material. * The Audiology Clinic at WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic will offer free hearing screenings for all ages March 26-30. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1502

* The WSU Health Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the Heskett Center gym. Admission is free. More than 60 representatives from the campus and community will share health-related information, performing screening and doing demonstrations. Bring your Shocker Card for a chance at prizes.

* KMUW has declared the first day of its spring pledge drive, Thursday, April 12, as Don and Shirley Beggs Day.
