* WSU professor Mel Kahn invites faculty and staff to hear candidates Esau Freeman, Kent Rowe, Robert Tillman and John Willoughby engage in a Democrat primary debate from 9:30-10:45 a.m. today (Wednesday, April 11) in 114 Lindquist Hall. The candidate who wins the primary election will run for the 4th District congressional seat currently held by Mike Pompeo.

* Today's (Wednesday, April 11) Wu Wednesday Deal at the University Bookstore is a woman's pair of Nike yoga pants, black with pink lettering, for $29.99, regular price $44.99.

* For those who registered, the WSU Office of Research Administration will host the webinar "Crafting a Sales Pitch for Your Grant Proposal" from 1-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 11).

* The baseball team will host the University of Kansas at 6:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 11) at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* The Spring 2012 Physics Seminar Series will feature a presentation by Steven Kuhlmann of Argonne National Lab titled "Dark Matter and Dark Energy in the Universe" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 11) in 128 Jabara Hall.

* The Chemistry Department will host Professor Richard Epand of McMaster University in the WSU Molecular Biosciences series at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 11) in 224 McKinley Hall. He will speak on "Phosphatidylinositol Cycling and Acyl Chain Specificity."

* The next training session on Microsoft Beginning OneNote 2010 will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in 119 Jabara Hall.
