* WSU Shiftspace Gallery will have a Project Runaway wearable art fundraiser from 7-10 p.m. today (Friday, April 13) at 800 E. Third St. Tickets are available in the McKnight Art Office or at the door -- $10 for students, and faculty and staff; $20 general public; $30 for couples. Door prizes includea $250 gift certificate to Vision Green, dinner gift cards and more.

* The McNair Scholars Program (173B Grace Willkie Annex) is accepting applications from WSU students for the 2012-2013 academic year. The program provides effective preparation for graduate school to WSU undergraduate students. The application deadline is Friday, April 20. * A Pandemonium Steel Band concert will feature the WSU Steel Band, Haven H.S. Steel Band and Sedgwick H.S. * Special Team Les T-shirts are being developed for all participating WSU teams in the 2012 Heart Run and Walk. Walkers/runners who raise at least $100 by Friday, April 27, get their own Team Les T-shirt to wear at the event in honor of colleague and professor Les Anderson.
