* The final event of the 8th Annual Poetry and Fiction Reading Series will be held from 3-4 p.m. today (Thursday, April 19) on the lower level of Ablah Library and will feature MFA student poets.
* WSU's Muslim Student Association invites you to an evening of enlightenment in its biggest event of the semester, "Defending Religious Freedom, Understanding Shariah," from 5:30-8:30 p.m. today (Thursday, April 19) in the CAC Theater. The event aims to shed light on the American historical perspective of religious freedom in America, and clear up the misconception that Shariah is a growing threat to the United States. * Don't miss the exhibition "WSU Expeditions to Asmat: An Exhibition of Photographs and Cultural Objects" in the main corridor of Ablah Library now through May 2. The exhibition features photographs taken by members of the WSU expeditions to Asmat in Western New Guinea in 2001 and 2007 when more than 1,000 Asmat cultural objects were collected for the Holmes Museum of Anthropology's Downing Collection of Asmat Art.
