The second recipient of the Maha "Maggie" Sawan Fellowship for Graduate Students will be announced at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Garvey International Center (17th and Hillside). All are welcome to attend. This award was established by Edwin Sawan, professor emeritus in electrical engineering and computer science, to honor the memory of his late wife, Maha "Maggie" Sawan. The award is made every semester to a different WSU graduate student for $6,400, divided between two consecutive semesters.
