* A Cinco De Mayo Festival, cosponsored by Multicultural Affairs and the Hispanice American Leadership, will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, May 3) on the Grace Memorial Chapel sidewalk. The festival will feature Latin music, traditional dances and games.
* The Center for Women's Studies, FOCUS (Feminists on Campus) and EIA (Equality in Action) are sponsoring a "bring your own brown bag" picnic in the Plaza of Heroines from noon-1:30 p.m. today (Thursday, May 3). * The Ulrich Museum has partnered with the Salina Art Center to welcome New York-based artist Dawit L. Petros for an illustrated artist talk, "Forging New Boundaries," at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, May 3) in 210 McKnight Art Center West (WSU School of Art and Design), followed by an art walk through campus at 5:30 p.m.
* Beethoven's monumental Ninth Symphony will be performed at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, May 3) in Miller Concert Hall. The WSU Symphony Orchestra, A Cappella Choir and Concert Chorale will combine forces with the Wichita Chamber Chorale and a quartet of vocal soloists for the performance.
