The Center for Women's Studies, FOCUS (Feminists on Campus) and EIA (Equality in Action) are sponsoring a "bring your own brown bag" picnic in the Plaza of Heroines from noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3. All faculty, staff and students interested in mingling with other gender-minded individuals are welcome to attend. The picnic will provide the opportunity to celebrate the end of the semester, foster future cross-disciplinary campus collaborations and to shed light on the history of the Plaza of Heroines. In case of rain, the picnic will occur in the LAS conference room (2nd floor, Lindquist Hall in the dean's office).
