After 20 years of service to WSU, Toni Pickard, associate professor in the Department of Public Health Science-College of Health Professions, will retire this spring. She was honored for her contributions to the university and community on May 3 at a celebration hosted by Safe Streets Wichita and many other community partners. This recognition highlighted her many years of leadership, passion and service to Health Options for Plainview, which provided health education and services to one of the diversely rich and economically disadvantaged communities in Wichita.
