Reminders

* WSU Postal Services was notified that the Federal Express drop box in front of Ahlberg Hall will be removed by Tuesday, May 15. Departments using this drop box must now bring outgoing FedEx mail to the Campus Post Office before 3:15 p.m. Otherwise, it must be taken to the nearest drop box located at 1314 N. Oliver St. (Munger Station Post Office).

* The west entrance to the Campus Credit Union will be locked to members this week because of an installation of a new ATM and construction work.

* The Provost's Office invites all women faculty (tenured and tenure-eligible) to a lunch gathering from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the Sudermann Room at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex (29th and Oliver). Associate provost Linnea GlenMaye will facilitate discussion of issues of concern and future initiatives for women faculty of WSU. RSVP by noon Wednesday, May 9, to jeanne.patton@wichita.edu.

* A training session on Microsoft Beginning Excel 2010 is offered Thursday, May 10, and Tuesday, May 15, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Excel experience. To view training dates and register for the class log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.

* The Office of Admissions-Orientation is creating an online packet of materials for students who will complete orientation programs this summer. If you would like to have information included in the online packet, please send a pdf file of the information you would like to be included to kim.sandlin@wichita.edu by Friday, May 18.
