* The Provost's Office invites all women faculty (tenured and tenure-eligible) to a lunch gathering from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the Sudermann Room, Hughes Metropolitan Complex (29th and Oliver). * Today's (Wednesday, May 9) Wu Wednesday Deal at the University Bookstore is ping pong paddles and ball set on sale for $17.

* All unclassified and classified benefits-eligible positions must have a paper position description submitted to Libby Gilbert for FLSA and ADAAA review before the position description portion of PeopleAdmin can be approved for posting. The paper form can be found on the Office of Human Resources website in the forms section. * A training session on Microsoft Beginning Excel 2010 is offered Thursday, May 10, and Tuesday, May 15, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Excel experience. To view training dates and register for the class, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube under Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.

* WSU is working on a quality initiative (QI) as required for its next accreditation reaffirmation in 2016-2017 by the Higher Learning Commission. To facilitate this work, a QI draft has been proposed centered around our efforts in student success.
