Recently, a program honored faculty who received 2012 Faculty Awards. This year's winners were: Julie Bees and Mark Laycock for Excellence in Creativity; Mark A. Schneegurt for Excellence in Research; Elizabeth Behrman and Natalie Grant for the Academy for Effective Teaching; Royce W. Smith for Young Faculty Scholar; Carolyn Shaw for Leadership in the Advancement of Teaching; and Doris Burgert and Preethika Kumar for Excellence in Teaching.
