Kansas Board of Regents invites research proposals
KERSP is designed to:
1. Engage researchers in targeted research of interest to Kansas education stakeholders;
2. Develop a tradition of Kansas-focused educational research to promote improvement in Kansas public education;
3. Provide priority access to data from the Statewide Longitudinal Data System, a joint effort between KBOR and KSDE;
4. Generate opportunities for KSDE and KBOR to learn from researchers.
Ten research topics have been identified that are of mutual interest to KSDE and KBOR. Research proposals must respond to at least one of the identified topics.
The Request for Proposals, which includes complete information on the project, timelines, research topics and additional information for submissions, is available on the KBOR website at http://www.kansasregents.org/kansas_education_research_scholars_program.
