* Tom Brock's retirement reception will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. today (Thursday, May 17) at the Media Resources Center. Remarks will be at 2 pm. Brock has been at the MRC for 32 years. He was hired in November 1980 as coordinator of cable television services, and he's currently director of media services.

* The Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) invites faculty of Kansas public universities to address educational research topics relevant to KBOR and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) through the Kansas Education Research Scholars Program (KERSP). * Participants are needed to help the WSU Health Risk Assessment Team and Sedgwick County Health Department with a practice drill of the point of distribution site at Charles Koch Arena on Thursday, May 31.
