* The WSU Shocker Challenge is for campus departments to foster employee interaction, teamwork, morale, pride, health and wellness. Challenge events begin the first full week of June 2012 and continue through July. The deadline to register your team is 5 p.m. Friday, May 25. * A training session on Microsoft Beginning Outlook 2010 will be offered Thursday, May 17, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training introduces users to customizing their Outlook experience. To view training dates and register for the class log into myWSU, select EmpHelp (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* From now to June 3, the Heskett Center has adjusted its schedule and will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 1-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The Heskett Center also will be closed May 26-28 for the Memorial Day weekend.
* The Office of Admissions-Orientation is creating an online packet of materials for students who will complete orientation programs this summer. If you would like to have information included in the online packet, please send a pdf file of the information you would like to be included to kim.sandlin@wichita.edu by Friday, May 18.
