* A presentation by the third candidate for director of campus recreation will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 23), in 105 Heskett Center. Please consider attending the presentation by Sam Axley from Savannah, Ga.

* The Department of Anthropology will host a celebration of the life and contributions of Robert Lawless, beloved professor of anthropology at WSU, at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, in 117 Neff Hall. The family has requested that guests try to wear something orange as a tribute, as it was his favorite color.

* Participants are needed to help the WSU Health Risk Assessment Team and Sedgwick County Health Department with a practice drill of the point of distribution site at Charles Koch Arena on Thursday, May 31. Participants will need to complete an online registration form and RSVP by May 24 at http://www.dispenseassist.com. Select "Anthrax" under the Vouchers menu and complete the form. * The Office of Human Resources has announced that the AAO-1 Search Process Report is getting a facelift starting June 1. Initial training classes are available from 1:30-3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 23); 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24; 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30; and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31. To view training dates and register for the class, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining.
