The Wichita Scottish Rite and Wichita State University will hold its second annual Charity Poker Run for Motorcycles and Classic Cars from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the historic Wichita Scottish Rite center. Meet in the parking lot, just north of 1st and Topeka. Join us for door prizes, raffles, silent auction, $5 lunch and vendors. The cost to ride in the run is $25 at the event or $20 to preregister before 5 p.m. today (Friday, May 18). The price includes a T-shirt and one poker hand. As a RiteCare facility, the Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language Hearing Clinic offers fee assistance to provide services for children with communication disorders, funded in part through the Kansas Scottish Rite Foundation and the Wichita Scottish Rite.
