The Office for Faculty Development and Student Success is pleased to announce that, after a national search, Kim Sandlin has been named the new assistant director of Student Success. Sandlin graduated from WSU with a degree in sociology and earned a master's degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. She has 14 years experience working in various capacities in the WSU Office of Admissions. During the transition period this summer, Sandlin will continue to work with freshmen and transfer student orientations while she trains her replacement in admissions. Her new duties will include supervising the Supplemental Instruction program, co-leading WSU 101 Introduction to the University and assisting with the GradesFirst early alert program.
