Library orientations for new faculty and GAs

Planning an orientation for new faculty or new GAs? These groups will benefit from an introduction to collections and services offered at University Libraries.

Library orientations for new faculty will be held 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 16, and 9-10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17. Library orientations for new GAs are scheduled from 9-10 a.m. Thursday Aug. 16, and 11 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 17.

Both groups will learn about special services for them, such as faculty carrels, graduate lockers, and instruction and research support, as well as the textbook collection, course reserve, subject-specific information and other collections. Electronic access both on and off campus will also be covered.
