* Wichita State will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 28. Offices will reopen Tuesday, May 29. Summer classes begin Monday, June 4.

* The Heskett Center will be closed Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 26-Monday, May 28.

* The Department of Anthropology will host a celebration of the life and contributions of Robert Lawless, beloved professor of anthropology at WSU, at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, in 117 Neff Hall. The family has requested that guests try to wear something orange as a tribute, as it was his favorite color.

* The Center for Management Development will present the workshop "Emotional Intelligence" from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, in Woodman Alumni Center. Lunch is provided. Any tuition assistance that may be available is handled through Human Resources and must be requested more than two weeks ahead of the class.
