Reminders
* Reading Explorers, an early literacy-learning playgroup, is accepting applicants for the 2012-2013 academic year. Children must be 4 to 6 years old and accompanied by an adult caregiver. This group meets on Thursdays from 1-2:30 p.m. If you are interested, contact Janette Warne at 978-3392 or janette.warne@wichita.edu.
* Training on Microsoft Beginning Excel 2010 will be offered on Thursday, June 14, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Excel experience. For more information on topics, training dates and registration, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp and myTraining, then click the Register button.
* Requisitions are due at the WSU Foundation by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, for checks to be available Friday, June 29. Emergency checks can be issued on an as-needed basis. All deposits must be in by June 29 to be posted in FY12.
* The Performance Management Process for classified employees requires a mid-year discussion by June 30. You will not assign a rating, but you will discuss the established objectives and competencies and the employee's progress toward meeting these goals. After the discussion with the employee, have him/her sign on page 10 of the form under mid-year discussion signatures to document that the discussion took place. * The Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) invites faculty of Kansas public universities to address educational research topics relevant to KBOR and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) through the Kansas Education Research Scholars Program (KERSP).
