WSU's Center for Economic Development and Business Research recently released population projections by age cohort from 2010 through 2040 for all Kansas counties. This newly released report is the third in a series of reports identifying ways to use population projection data. This particular report analyzes the population projections for urban areas in Kansas. The Kansas urban population was 2,440,146 in 2010, or 85.5 percent of the total population.
