* A training session on using Acrobat X to Create Fillable Forms will be offered Tuesday, June 19, in 119 Jabara Hall. Learn to use Acrobat X to create forms to be filled in and returned electronically. To view training dates and register for the class, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.

* Several offices in the Rhatigan Student Center are moving to temporary locations in preparation for the Rhatigan Renewal, the RSC's major renovation and expansion project. Office moves are occuring now (June) through July 2012. For details, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1612.

* The Rhatigan Renewal Groundbreaking will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, in the east courtyard of the Rhatigan Student Center. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in RSC Shocker Square, on the first floor adjacent to Copperfield's and Fast Break.

* Lake Afton Public Observatory and the Kansas Astronomical Observers (KAO) are hosting "Bring Your Own Telescope" night Friday, June 15. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1626

* A reminder to employees who are on the State Employee Health Plan (WSU health insurance for state employees). The July 31 deadline is fast approaching to earn your Reward Points for the health insurance discount in FY2013. * The Intensive English Language Center has a need for more volunteers to be conversation leaders on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. This summer, the Wednesday sessions are 10-11:45 a.m., noon-1:45 p.m., and 2:15-4:15 p.m. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu.
