Reminders
* The Shocker Card Center and Commerce Bank are scheduled to be closed Wednesday through Friday, June 20-22, so they can move to their new location in 201 Rhatigan Student Center. Plans are to reopen Monday, June 25.
* The Intensive English Language Center has a need for more volunteers to be conversation leaders on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. This summer, the Wednesday sessions are 10-11:45 a.m., noon-1:45 p.m., and 2:15-4:15 p.m. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu.
* Requisitions are due at the WSU Foundation by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, for checks to be available Friday, June 29. Emergency checks can be issued on an as-needed basis. All deposits must be in by June 29 to be posted in FY12.
* A training session on using Word 2010 will be offered Thursday, June 21 and 28, and Tuesday, July 17, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training will help the user learn to use Word to quickly create a professional document. To view training dates and register for the class, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* Preparation continues for the upcoming merge of the Activities Office and Center for Student Leadership on July 1. CSL has officially closed its doors. Any questions can be directed to the Activities Office at 978-3495 or 978-3022. Mail for either office should be sent to campus box 56. The offices will merge into Student Involvement, which will be located in the RSC ballroom.
