Mathematics Ph.D. graduate accepts position at Harvard

Everett H. Kropf, who received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from WSU in spring 2012 (Thomas DeLillo, thesis adviser), will be a postdoc at the mathematics department at Harvard University starting in July. He will work with the well-known Harvard mathematician S.T. Yau on new methods for computer-aided geometric design. His position is supported by U.S. government funding through Geometric Informatics, a research and development company near Harvard.
