* Career Services will host a Job Search Workshop for students from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the WSU West Campus computer lab. It is open to any WSU student or recent graduate who is searching for a full-time position. The event is free, but students must sign up by today (Wednesday, June 27) on Hire-a-Shocker, accessible through their myWSU account, to attend.
* A summer blood drive will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, in the Heskett Center. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Donors and volunteers should check in at the front lobby table. Volunteers should contact Sally Beckett at 978-5286 or sally.beckett@wichita.edu. To donate blood, call (800) REDCROS (733-2767) or go to redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins also are welcome.
* The application deadline is fast approaching for dependents and/or spouse of full-time staff at the university to take advantage of the tuition assistance program. Applications must be completed and turned in to Shelly Kellogg no later than Sunday, July 1, at shelly.kellogg@wichita.edu or 978-6122.
* Central Services will be closed for inventory Thursday and Friday, June 28-29, so the last day to purchase office supplies at Central Services is today (Wednesday, June 27). The last day to charge printing at Duplication Station is today. Any orders received beginning Thursday, June 28, will be charged to fiscal year 2013 business.
