* The WSU Judo Club invites male and female high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to take part in judo training under a new outreach program that allows high school age children, including those of WSU faculty and staff, to train alongside the collegiate members of the WSU Judo Club. Students may train for the remainder of the summer for $25. A judo uniform is not required. Contact club president Huan Huanlia at hxhuanlia@wichita.edu.

* A new social media campaign, which centers on the distinctive experience-based learning WSU provides, will run Aug. 1-Oct. 31. Please encourage students and alumni to engage on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, with the hashtag #WSUexperience, to share what they have learned in their new careers, current internships or other job-related experiences in their field of study. * A summer blood drive will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, in the Heskett Center. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Donors and volunteers should check in at the front lobby table. Volunteers should contact Sally Beckett at 978-5286 or sally.beckett@wichita.edu.
