* If you are interested in learning new skills for weight management, join a free four-session class 8-9 a.m. every Tuesday, July 10-31, in 206 Heskett Center. Participants will receive educational materials and free recipe booklets, and will be led through the process of creating a realistic, individualized health plan.

* The Ulrich Museum's Art for Your Ears Summer Music Series continues with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gretchen Peters at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12, in the McKnight Art Center outdoor plaza. * The U.S. Postal Service is offering a 2 percent discount on mailings from July 1 through Aug. 31. Departments can contact the WSU Post Office at 978-5875 concerning how integrating technology could increase the value of their mailings.

* The Kansas Board of Regents has approved 17 general education college courses that will transfer among the 32 public higher education institutions.
