TRIO Ghana Observation Project update

The inaugural TRIO Ghana Observation Project has been in operation on the WSU campus for the past three weeks. Three high school students from Ghana are observing the TRIO Upward Bound Math Science program this summer. Leah Otto, Michael Siameh and Glenda Mensah-Sarbah have been guests of the 48 Kansas and Nebraska participants. The Ghanaian representatives are living at Fairmount Towers with the other participants and taking courses as well. These guests have dived into the American-teen culture without a hitch and plan to travel to Denver, Colo., with the group to tour several other American college campuses. The Ghanaian students will be on the WSU campus until Wednesday, July 18.
