The significance of Wichita State's Olympic oak tree will be illuminated by an exhibit now through Sunday, Sept. 30, in Ablah Library's Special Collections reading room. One of the items is a poster of the 1936 Olympic Gold Medal basketball team that featured former Wichita University players Francis Johnson and Jack Ragland, and former WU coach Gene Johnson, brother of Francis.
