Wituk inducted into Wichita Business Journal's 40 Under 40 at awards ceremony
The 40 under 40 honorees are compiled from nominees based on leadership, community involvement and contribution to their organization.
"This is really about honoring the work of WSU and CCSR in working with our local and statewide community," said Wituk. "It is a great recognition of our commitment to being an urban-serving university working with a variety of stakeholders to make our region and state a better place to live. I'm glad I've been able to be a part of it, but we can still achieve more."
President Bardo and his wife, Deborah, joined the celebration, as one of their initial public appearances. They were welcomed by the Wichita Business Journal and hundreds of guests.
President Bardo said: "Dr. Wituk and CCSR represent exactly the type of work WSU needs to be involved in throughout the community, region and state. I look forward to continued success and finding additional ways CCSR can work with local partners."
Wituk also was joined by David McDonald, associate provost for research and dean, graduate school, and CCSR management staff, including Kevin Bomhoff, Heather Perkins, Tara Gregory and Candy Youle.
