* The Media Resources Center and KMUW have calendar strips that adhere to a computer monitor. The 2012-13 academic year-at-a-glance calendar is a handy reference. Call 978-3575 if you would like calendars for faculty and staff in your department.

* Faculty, staff and students are invited to discover how today's technology is being used by our campus community at the next Learn More: WSU Technology Fair, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Ablah Library and Media Resources Center. * Faculty who are interested in wind energy research are invited to attend the Statewide Wind Energy Research and Education Planning Forum Sept. 26-28 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kan. Funding to help make this forum possible comes from WSU, KU and KSU via their participation in the Kansas Board of Regent's Council of Chief Research Officers. * The wRECk Center is open on the second floor, south end of the RSC. The menu includes burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings and more. Summer hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
