* Faculty and staff are invited to a come-and-go farewell reception for Edie Brown, administrative assistant to the CIO, from 2-4 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 10) in 115 Jardine Hall. Brown has worked at Wichita State since 2004.

* WSU is working on a quality initiative (QI) as required for its next accreditation reaffirmation in 2016-2017 by the Higher Learning Commission.
