Recalling an age of window-shopping and department store displays, Wichita artist Randy Regier's toys, sculptures and installations suggest relics of a bygone era. Join him for "A Toy Story" during Senior Wednesday (for art enthusiasts 55+) Aug. 15. The program will be held in 210 McKnight Art Center West (School of Art and Design). Enjoy complimentary refreshments at 10 a.m., followed by a presentation at 10:30 a.m. Admission is free. Regier's art reflects the early 20th-century American dreams of an ultra-modern future -- to explore and travel across space and time with new adventures at each turn. A Midwest native, Regier exhibits nationally with New York gallery representation.
