After many years of dedicated service, Janet Brandes in the Department of Public Health Sciences, will retire effective Friday, Aug. 17. As an Educational Programs Coordinator and faculty, Brandes has had a significant leadership role with program development and growth in the department’s BS in Health Science, BS in HMCD degree, the Administrator in Training Program and the Graduate Certificate in Public Health. While her retirement will be deeply felt, her gentle yet unwavering commitment to public health will be remembered, as well as her endless support of students, faculty and community members.
