* As part of Welcomefest, the WSU Foundation will participate in Wu Wednesday: Kiss'um Bye from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 22) on the lawn west of the Heskett Center. In addition to cooking and giving away hotdogs, a photo booth with props will be set up for students to get their pictures taken.

* Rock out during Welcomefest when Wichita-based party band Blue Eyed Soul comes to campus. The free concert, sponsored by the Ulrich Museum, starts at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 22) on the Heskett Center west lawn. Enjoy a great band, prizes and refreshments.

* The results of the 2012 exit survey, administered to all graduating students during the past academic year, are available. Overall, the results indicate a high level of satisfaction among respondents in terms of the quality of academic programs. * A wage and hour training class is designed for supervisors and is highly beneficial for timekeepers. If you approve timesheets or input timesheets, knowing the laws and polices is imperative. Classes are offered every month. To view training dates and register for the class log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp (orange cube underneath the Weather) and myTraining. * A one-hour library orientation for students will begin by the circulation desk at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, in Ablah Library. Students will be introduced to the research process and learn how to find scholarly articles in 217 Ablah after the tour. The tour is open to everyone.
