The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers -- especially drivers -- to be conversation leaders. Conversation leaders spend time on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. If you have an interest in other cultures and are good at listening and getting people to talk, you probably would enjoy being a conversation leader. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu. For the next few weeks, Wednesday sessions are 9-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m., 1-2:30 p.m. and 2:15-3:45 p.m.
